Navigating life’s challenges can be daunting at times, especially when we try to go it alone. I provide a safe and sacred space in which to collaboratively explore and find a way through the struggles you are facing. Whether the nature of your problems is personal (such as, healing from abuse/trauma, grief/loss, self-esteem, addiction, anxiety or depression), or interpersonal (couple or marital issues, parent-child relationships, social, school or workplace concerns), I believe I possess the training, skills, experience, and the desire to help you and/or your loved one on your journey toward healing.
I specialize in grief/loss, sexual abuse, anxiety, depression, addiction, marriage and family concerns. I utilize a variety of strategies (including expressive arts and faith-based counseling) and sound counseling approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and play therapy. My style is supportive, compassionate, and solution-focused.
Having had 27 years in public education, I am very comfortable working with children and teenagers, as well as adults. I have worked with a variety of ages and issues, and can usually connect and communicate with clients from 5 to 85. My interests are faith/spirituality, music, & the Enneagram.
